Welcome to Momentus, the podcast that takes you on a wild ride through a world of fantasy and satire! Join us as our characters explore a realm filled with Candyland-like gags and gumdrop goodies, while revisiting the romance and chivalry reminiscent of The Princess Bride. Packed with social commentary, Momentus pokes fun at all sides of the political spectrum without managing to overstep acceptable boundaries or take itself too seriously This podcast is an Australian-based micro media project, self-funded with the aim of telling a variety of stories in authentic Australian and diverse accents. Our goal is to provide an alternative to the typical ubiquitous dystopia narrative and bring more unique projects to the local public. The characters in Momentus, from the grouchy Princess to the philosophising tadpole and the koala spy, are played but some of Australia’s brightest up and coming actors, all recent graduates of NIDA (Australia’s national institute of Dramatic art whose alumni include Cate Blanchet, Mel Gibson and Baz Luhrmann) See the credit and check out there shows- many of them are squeezing in Momentus between musical theatre. While we do use AI to enhance our storytelling capabilities, we are committed to not using it to replace people. You see, used the right way it might be able to make certain tasks cheaper and quicker, so that we can compete with bigger companies and bring you more human generated stories. Written and produced by Koala Spies and Justine Kelly. Sound Recording and Engineering by Isaac Zou. Prime Minister Putt Putt: Ariyan Sharma. President Tsarjing Boing Boing: Teodora Matovic.
